## Summary

Older adults with higher vitamin D levels and a habit of aerobic exercise were less likely to have a cluster of heart and metabolic risk factors. In about 1,700 Koreans over 65, having both was tied to roughly 40 percent lower odds compared with having neither. Each factor mattered on its own, so people low on one still appeared to benefit from the other. This is a snapshot in time, so it cannot show that vitamin D or exercise caused the lower risk.
