Flusssauna Rostock

It is a floating sauna boat, the "Schwitzkasten," moored at Marina Ocean's End in Rostock's city harbor. It has a wood-fired Finnish sauna with a panoramic window, a relaxation area, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen, and a terrace on the water. Guests cool down by jumping directly into the Warnow river.

Open sessions cost 40 euros per person for 4 hours. A private rental is 240 euros for up to 6 people for 4 hours, with each additional person (max 2 more) at 40 euros and extra hours at 70 euros each. All sessions include water, fruit, coffee, tea, and firewood.

During the September to May season, open sessions run Monday 17:00 to 21:00 (mixed), Wednesday 17:00 to 21:00 (ladies), and Thursday 17:00 to 21:00 (men), with a maximum of 6 people per session. The boat closes for a summer break from June to August.

The boat holds up to 8 people. To cool off, you plunge straight into the Warnow river, which the operator calls the largest plunge pool in Rostock. The boat stays moored at the dock for regulatory reasons and does not cruise during sessions.
