Mashery – Hummus Kitchen

Mashery is a vegetarian and largely vegan Middle Eastern kitchen built around fresh, daily-made hummus. Signature bowls include Hummus Classic, Champignons, Jackfruit Schawarma, Zucchini-Feta-Walnut, Sabich and a weekly special, all served with pita. Mezze such as green falafel, roasted cauliflower and eggplant with pistachios round out the menu, plus Saturday shakshuka and desserts like malabi and tahini brownie.

The kitchen is fully vegetarian and offers a very large selection of vegan dishes, though not every item is vegan. According to the restaurant, almost all dishes are gluten-free. Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients.

Mashery is at Roonstraße 36, 50674 Köln, in the lively Quartier Latäng near Rathenauplatz. It is open Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 22:00 and closed on Sundays.

Yes. Alongside dine-in, Mashery offers takeaway and delivery as well as catering with mezze platters and party trays. Takeaway packaging is compostable or uses the reusable Vytal container system.
