The Swiss Center for Preventive Medicine is a preventive health and check-up center in Meyrin, part of Hôpital de La Tour near Geneva. What check-up programmes does the Swiss Center for Preventive Medicine offer?+

How does the center measure biological age?+

Through an epigenetic profile based on a blood test using the Swiss Epigenetic Clock developed by Genknowme. It measures how lifestyle factors such as diet, alcohol, tobacco and physical activity affect gene function, and the sample is processed in a Swiss FOPH-authorized laboratory in Lausanne.

Are the check-ups covered by health insurance?+

No. The Highcare checkups and additional assessments are not covered by mandatory health insurance, so they are paid privately.
