Therme Wien

Therme Wien is Europe's largest contemporary city thermal spa, with 26 pools at varying temperatures fed by two sulphur springs, an outdoor area with a 25 metre sports pool, saltwater and spring-fed pools, three separate sauna zones, a 6,000 square metre health centre, a fitness gym and Therme Wien Med medical services.

The water comes from two therapeutic sulphur springs drawn from around 2,000 metres below ground, with pool temperatures between 27 and 36 degrees. The sulphur content is among the highest in Europe, which is why the water is associated with joint mobility and recovery.

The thermal spa is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00. Massage and treatment bookings run from 09:30 to 20:00.

Therme Wien is at Kurbadstraße 14, 1100 Vienna, in the Oberlaa district bordering the heritage-listed Kurpark Oberlaa. It is reachable by the U1 subway line, roughly 15 minutes from the city centre.

The sauna zones are textile-free and adults only. There are three separate sauna areas with regular Aufguss sauna infusions.
