About Anna Erat

Dr. Anna Erat earned her medical degree at the University of Zurich and Harvard Medical School, completed post-doctoral research in biomedicine and genetics at Harvard, and earned a PhD in epidemiology and health-systems management at the University of Basel (Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute). She is board-certified in internal medicine (FMH) and sports medicine (SEMS) and has worked with athletes from Swiss national-team ice-hockey players to Formula 1 drivers.

Erat became the first female medical director in the history of Klinik Hirslanden. She later served as head of strategy for prevention and longevity for the Hirslanden Group and director of the Hirslanden Check-Up Center. She completed executive education at Harvard Business School and the International Directors Program at INSEAD, and now runs an independent clinical and consulting practice.

She is faculty at the University of St. Gallen Executive School, a clinical lecturer at the University of Zurich, an advisor to Forbes and a member of the Longevity Science Foundation's Strategic Advisory Council.
