About Ekkehard Jagdmann

Ekkehard Jagdmann is a longevity coach, keynote speaker and developer of the 3L method. He works with entrepreneurs, executives and dentists on the basics of long-term health: energy, sleep and recovery, stress, nutrition and exercise. His practice is based in Kahl am Main.

The 3L method is built on three German words: leicht (clear thinking and less mental load), lebendig (targeted movement for fitness and recovery) and lustvoll (nutrition as an enjoyable source of energy rather than deprivation). His coaching combines analyses such as blood values, micronutrient status, heart rate variability and sleep with one-to-one strategies and workshops.

His background is in health care and dentistry. He trained in dental technology in Schleswig-Holstein from 1982 to 1987, then trained and worked as a nurse and paramedic in Hamburg and Kiel and qualified as a health and fitness instructor (Gesundheits-Sportlehrer). After managing the laboratory of a dental lab in Rendsburg, he moved into the dental industry in 1996 and passed the master dental technician examination (Zahntechnikermeister) in 1997. At Heraeus Kulzer he worked as International Dental Advisor and then as Product Manager, followed by a role as Key Account Manager Scientific Marketing at Kulzer. He has also written for the dental trade press, for example on work-life balance for dental technicians.

On 18 November 2026 he speaks at Longevity Cities Frankfurt on "Longevity – Tipps & Tricks für ein längeres, gesundes Leben" at Recover Society, Gutleutstraße 85. The talk looks at which factors current research links most strongly to health and quality of life in later years: movement, nutrition, sleep, recovery, stress management and biological age. The focus is on small, practical changes rather than complicated biohacks.
