Bartholomäus-Therme Hamburg is an adults-only thermal spa and sauna in a 1899 Jugendstil building in Barmbek-Süd, Hamburg. The sauna area combines a 100°C Kaminsauna, a 90°C infusion sauna, 80°C and 70°C saunas, a Römisches Schwitzbad, and eucalyptus and floral steam baths, plus cold-water applications, a foot-warming basin, rest room, and a sleeping room with winter garden. Regular Aufguss rituals run through the day, with an ice-menthol-crystal infusion under black light at 19:00. The 12 by 22 metre thermal pool sits at a warm 32°C. From 17:00 daily the halls turn to soft light and quiet music. The ground floor was modernised in 2022; the Thermenbar serves food and drink daily, and aqua-fitness courses are offered.
