Carolus Thermen Aachen

It combines a thermal bath fed by Aachen's mineral hot springs (several differently tempered pools indoors and outdoors, a salt graduation tower, the Strokkur brine steam bath and the Oceanum) with a sauna world of nine saunas, three steam baths, an oriental bath with Hammam, a Baltic sauna landscape and an outdoor sauna garden with a lake. The Carolus Spa adds massages and treatments, and there is on-site gastronomy.

The thermal bath starts at 19 euros for up to 3.5 hours on weekdays (up to 21 euros on weekends and holidays), with a full day from 23 to 25 euros. A combined thermal bath and sauna ticket ranges from 40 to 52 euros depending on duration and day. Parking is a flat 6 euros, and towels and bathrobes can be rented (towel 2 euros, sauna towel 5 euros, bathrobe 8 euros).

Yes. The sauna world is a nude area and wearing bathing clothes is not permitted. Textile sauna days are not offered.
