Emmi's Kitchen Augsburg is a fully vegan cafe and restaurant on Kirchgasse near St. Ulrich in the Augsburg city center. Founded by Goetz Moeglinger and named after his grandmother Emmi, it opened here in June 2021, expanding the Munich concept. The kitchen works with fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients and skips additives, colourings and preservatives. Breakfast is served daily until 4pm, from American pancakes and scrambled tofu to coconut rice pudding with mango sauce. The menu runs to BBQ burgers with vegan cheddar sauce, hearty bowls with falafel, Krautschupfnudeln, spinach dumplings and risotto, plus a weekly lunch special at 10.90 euro and cinnamon rolls and cakes. Seating indoors and outdoors for around 50 guests.
