Grugapark-Therme is a thermal spa in Essen set inside the Grugapark. What are the opening hours?+

Monday to Thursday 9:00 to 22:00, Friday and Saturday 9:00 to 23:00, and Sunday 9:00 to 19:00. Note that the spa closes for annual maintenance from 16 to 21 August 2026.

It sits inside the Grugapark at Lührmannstraße, 45131 Essen, in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Visitors can use the P7 parking deck.

Is there a women's day or textile rule to know?+

Monday is women's day (Frauentag) across the sauna and thermal areas. The saunas are always textile-free. Children and teens under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
